OZONOS Technology – what OZONOS can do,
no other air purifier can match

No other air purifier on the market uses the patented OZONOS ozone technology.

While conventional devices such as HEPA filters or ionizers

only filter out dust particles – or create new problems

like filter waste and germ traps

OZONOS goes one step further:

it destroys the substances that truly pollute our air.

What is Ozonos?

Ozonos is an innovative, filter-free air purifier

inspired by nature and developed in Austria.

It is a compact, maintenance-free device

(Standard Version for rooms up to 25 m² or PRO Version for up to 40 m²)

that works without chemicals, replaceable filters, or noisy fans.

Traventis brings this patented technology exclusively to Dubai and the UAE

to sustainably improve indoor air quality – especially in a region

like Dubai and the UAE, where sandstorms, high humidity, traffic emissions, construction dust, and intensive air-conditioning use heavily burden the air.

What does Ozonos do?

Ozonos neutralizes airborne pollutants by mimicking nature's purification processes. Using UV-C light, it generates controlled ozone (O₃ – active oxygen) that reacts with and oxidizes contaminants – eliminating or breaking down up to 99% of:

  • Odors (cigarette smoke, cooking fumes, pet smells, garbage, paint/solvent vapors, sweat, carpet/furniture off-gassing)

  • Viruses & bacteria (including SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogens)

  • Allergens (pollen, dust mites, mold spores)

  • Airborne fats & aerosols (e.g., from kitchens or smoking areas)

  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from paints, new furniture, adhesives, cleaners, building materials – permanently decomposed, not just filtered. This reduces headaches, eye/respiratory irritation, and "new house syndrome" common in Dubai's fast-paced construction environment.

Powerful deep-clean effect in unoccupied rooms:

In empty spaces (e.g., overnight, during office breaks, or absences),

Ozonos saturates the room with ozone.

Once pollutants are neutralized, excess ozone settles on surfaces, oxidizing bacteria, viruses, and biofilms on furniture, floors, handles,

and textiles – delivering a natural, hygienic deep clean.

Ozone then safely decomposes back into pure oxygen

(half-life 20–30 minutes at room temperature), leaving the space fresh and secure upon return.

Ideal for hotels, offices, and apartments.

TÜV-certified for safe 24/7 operation

No filters, no chemicals, just pure, fresh air.

Effective against fine dust
(PM 2.5 and smaller)

Unlike HEPA filters that trap particles, Ozonos uses negative ions

(a natural byproduct of its process) to neutralize positively charged fine dust.

The ions bind to particles, causing them to clump together and quickly settle out of the breathing zone onto floors and surfaces - easily removed with regular dusting.

This significantly reduces inhalation risks, easing respiratory issues, allergies and long-term health concerns - especially valuable in the UAE, where desert winds and traffic make fine dust a persistent challenge.

Simple & smart installation

Mount the device high (minimum 2 meters better above) to leverage natural thermal air currents for optimal distribution. Control it effortlessly via app - set schedules, enable auto-shutdown or manage remotely via Wi-Fi.

Completely maintenance free, TÜV-certified for safe 24/7 operation (ozone levels well below limits) with health-promoting negative ions.

Why is this good?

In an era where indoor air is often more polluted than outdoor air
(due to fine dust, viruses, VOCs, or allergens), Ozonos creates a healthier environment. The benefits:

  • Health protection: Reduces the risk of infections, allergies, respiratory issues, and VOC-related complaints. Clean air strengthens the immune system, improves concentration, sleep quality, and overall well-being – perfect for families, offices, hotels, gyms, high-end apartments, etc.

  • Sustainability: No filter changes, no chemicals, low energy consumption (like charging an iPhone). It is environmentally friendly and TÜV-certified – harmless to humans, animals, and plants when used correctly.

  • Efficiency: Up to 99.9% reduction of pollutants without noisy fans or expensive consumables. In Dubai's demanding climate (sand, heat, humidity), it provides "natural freshness" like after a thunderstorm.

  • Economical: Long-term cost-saving, as it neutralizes threats without ongoing expenses.

Scientifically proven: The technology is based on patented UV-C and ozone processes, which have demonstrated their effectiveness against viruses, odors, allergens, and more in studies and TÜV tests.

How does
negative ionization work?

Negative ionization describes the process in which atoms or molecules

(mostly oxygen) gain an extra electron and become negatively charged – creating negative ions (e.g., O₂⁻).

In nature, this happens, for example, at waterfalls, during thunderstorms, or in forests: Energy (e.g., from friction or UV light) releases electrons from molecules and charges the air.

These negative ions act like "air vitamins":

  • They bind to positively charged pollutants (e.g., dust, pollen, smoke particles), make them heavier, and cause them to sink to the ground or neutralize them.

  • The result: Fresher, "electrically balanced" air that is easier to breathe and contains fewer irritants.

In contrast to positive ions (which predominate in polluted, air-conditioned air and promote fatigue or headaches), negative ions restore a natural balance.

Why does the body need negative ions?

The human body benefits from negative ions as they optimize air quality and have physiological effects:

  • Respiratory system and immune system: They reduce allergens and pollutants, alleviate symptoms like asthma or hay fever, and strengthen defenses against viruses/bacteria.

  • Well-being: Negative ions boost serotonin (the "happiness hormone"), improve mood, concentration, and sleep. Studies (e.g., from environmental medicine) show they reduce stress, increase energy, and even promote cell regeneration.

  • In modern environments: In enclosed spaces (e.g., with air conditioning, electronics, or in high-rise apartments), negative ions are often completely absent – leading to "sick building syndrome" (fatigue, headaches). The body "needs" them to restore the natural ion balance found in nature (e.g., by the sea or in mountains). Without them, air quality declines, leading to long-term health burdens.

Research (e.g., from the WHO or environmental studies) emphasizes that good air quality is essential for disease prevention – negative ions contribute to this.

How does Ozonos produce negative ions as a byproduct?

Ozonos is based on UV-C technology that generates ozone to oxidize pollutants. As a byproduct of this process, negative ions are produced: The UV energy ionizes oxygen molecules, shifting the ion balance from approx. 50/50 (positive/negative) to up to 70% negative ions. This is a natural effect, similar to a thunderstorm where ozone and negative ions work together.

This byproduct enhances cleaning: While ozone attacks pollutants, negative ions bind the remnants (e.g., fine dust) and refresh the air. Ozonos even has modes that maximize this ion effect without exceeding harmful ozone levels (TÜV-certified for safe values).

When the air is clean, you may sometimes notice a light, fresh ozone scent – the signal that the process is complete.
